When I first moved here in the spring of 2003 I thought finally somewhere decent. But then the summer came. The lights along the walkways didnt work.I could never find a park by my building and then my refrigerator didnt work.Costing me a fortune to replace all the food that went bad.I called management about problem it took them two weeks to replace the fridge.Menwhile,I cant put anything in the freezer(like ice cream or ice for that matter)in the replacement.Although the management has changed the same problems still are still there. You still cant get a decent park by your building. You still have weird people haging out.And it just aint worth all the hassles going to management about it.If you can bypass this place. And what is it about the freaking gates around the patios now.How are people supposed to move large items that dont fit through the front door. It's nice that they enlarged the patios. But now it's more of an inconvience than covience. And then in the summer you have to deal with the lights constantly going out.On the hottest nights of the year you have no electricity. And its the only complex that has this problem. You can see that everyone else has lights but you.I've had spend nights at my in laws houses cause of this and management cant tell you anything.Bypass this one.

Though this review is lacking grammar, it is not lacking honesty. In addition to the power frequently going out (and not just for a little while either, we are talking many hours!), there is a problem with the fire alarms frequently sounding - but there is no fire! The Woodridge-Lisle Fire Department is quick to respond and turn the alarms off, but it is an inconvenience to have to evacuate, sometimes every couple of hours. The complex has been undergoing construction and renovation for the past year. They enlarged the patios on the first floor and added wooden enclosures. They are now twice as large as the balconies on the second floor. I'm in a second floor unit, but I can see what a hassle the enclosures are. There are no gates so now you can no longer use the patio door as a second entrance. The baconies/patios now look just like the ones at neighboring Natural Falls. The construction is seemingly random, and they make no effort to inform residents about what is going on. The management office just recently started distributing a newsletter. The construction was mentioned, but they did not offer a schedule or anything like that. Certain areas of the complex are prone to flooding. In the past few days I have had to navigate through 2-4 inches of standing water on the sidewalks during the hard rains. When I moved into my unit, I needed someplace to live and only really had a couple of weeks to find one and move. Supposedly they are renovating each unit as the occupant moves out. The rest of us are stuck with what we have, I guess. This complex is managed by BCH Emerald, who also manages neighboring Natural Falls (nothing about the fountains/falls are natural!) and Pine Ridge, which is located across the street on Janes Ave. Additionally, there is NO PLAYGROUND in the complex. They tore it down last year and rightfully so. Equipment was torn, broken, and dangerous. There are several nearby parks maintained by the Woodridge Park District, and they are really nice. Echo Point is right next door. Across the street is the Janes Avenue Park. The elementary school for this complex is Edgewood School, which is a few blocks away.
