Too many section 8 units.
Cabinets are old and outdated.
Police have sealed off the complex twice this summer hunting someone down.
Landscaping is increasingly messy.
Hallways are dark and the carpets are almost never cleaned.
Dozens of children play in the parking lot between cars, unchecked by any adult!
Dogs are everywhere though they are "not allowed"
The foundation of my unit it still shifting. Several large cracks in the ceiling have been painting.
People leave broken down cars in the parking lots and fix their cars in the lots.

well i'm sorry i have to beg to defer, i have lived at hawthornridge since 2007 and my family and i are very happy, the management team is great-if something is wrong in my apartment maintenance fixes it right aways i love my apartment, dogs are not running outside wild they are always with their owners-and as far as children it sounds like you don't have any -my children play outside just fine and i don't have to worry about them--i would hold hawthornridge up against many apartments in the area for the price i counldn't stay in a better complex!!!! I love hawthornridge---and thank god you are not on section 8!!!! written by: blessed and highly favored!!!
