Resident of Westwood Springs from 1997 to 2003 (also rented apartments in Philadelphia and Houston in these years because of my travelling job).

Experience with Mgmt Staff : Excellent staff and amenable. Very courteous. Very helping. Walk into the office and you'll know the difference from the 2 complexes down the street. The apts on Woodward aren't even worth mentioning. Actually, if you're reading this ... don't risk going to Woodward.

Was always offered solutions, options, choices (e.g., a job transfer clause allowing me to break my lease with $0 30 days notice).

On request, management had my carpets replaced (after inspection) midway through the lease. Management paid for shampooing of the carpets on several lease renewals(I was lazy in other years). Exterminator pops up on request. Can't ask for more.

Had one noisy neighbour(in 6 yrs) for just a 3 months before he got kicked out (I believe for being truant with his rent payments). The typical gentry in the rest of the complex contrasts starkly even from the one across the pond.

Maintenace staff availability / time-to-door is far above par (I have rented many units in many cities over the past 12yrs).

Management has pardoned late fees (based on my records) on more than one occasion.

Excellent location : far enough from the train station to bring up a family ... near enough for a 20 min ride on a bus from your doorsteps. Those with a driving bug can hop onto I-355, I-55, I-88 and eventually I-294 very facilely. Downtown or airports ... never had a problem. Enjoy Naperville/Lisle without paying Naperville prices. Enjoy the Woodridge Golf course like u were in Naperville.

Tried, in 3 different years, to hunt for a better location, price and complex in the general area of Lisle, Downers Grove, Naperville (no Bolingbrook for me). Couldn't.

IMAX is 9minutes away. Loews opened in 99'' Woodridge chamber of commerce spent a ton of money in 2000 renovating streets and there's expansive construction in southern woodridge now. Excellent to be in nothern Woodridge(Westwwood). The new Miejers makes it 3 grocery stores in 10min radius' 2 tennis courts in the complex. A set of 6 maintained by the city(on 75th st) in walking distance. 75th st is the place to be now .... Ogden is dead ... so is 55(Maple), 63rd is okay. The 5 mile stretch of all kinds of shops on the 75th street starts from Janes ! Though Bolingbrook is 5 minutes away ...never had to go there except to kill curiosity once in a while.
