In my opinion, Westwood Springs was a better name than Natural Falls resort. We've lived here for a year or so and overall I can only say it's ok. The apartments are small and there is no central AC or heat - unlike the model shown. Upstairs apartments are very, very warm in the summer and many of the room AC units are too old to be of much help. They are noisy but the newer ones appear to be much better both in effeciency in cooling and by being quieter.

Kids do play loudly outside at times but that happens anywhere. I love the dogs, the geese (I think they're a nice addition to the water areas, even though they do tend to leave goose crap everywhere) and the landscaping. This past spring it did look as though they were taking on too many projects and getting none of them done in a timely fashion - much of the landscaping was "in progress" from March through June or so and it got very old waiting for things to be finally finished. Unfortunately, Management gave us different answers every time we asked when things would be done. We stopped asking.

Maintenance is slow in getting to some things but others are fixed quickly. I think that's the same in any apartment complex.

The renovations being made to apartments as they become vacant are interesting. Some nice changes (like the cabinetry and opening the dining room/kitchen area up more) and kind of nice seeing the long bathroom being broken up into two bathrooms but the removal of ceiling fans is crazy. The upstairs apartments are so warm and ceiling fans are nearly a requirement. Finishing all of the floors in hardwood and removing carpet is nuts too. Many people don't like hardwood floors - I know we don't. Better perhaps to include different colors of carpeting. Something other than tan (or "Chicago Sand")would wear better.

The only real noise problem is in the living room. We can clearly hear people in the outside hallways and if people downstairs play music too loud, it overrides our television or music.

Parking would would better with assigned spots.

Overall, it's ok.
