Yes, Pine Ridge is affordable. The apartments are nice, and there is plenty of storage space. I love the pantry in the kitchen, and the lighting is bright enough.
The problems I have outweigh the good, unfortunately. The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors go about their daily business. People throw garbage in the hallways, and my hallway smells either like b.o. or kitty litter. There's garbage everywhere, pop cans and beer bottles in the parking lot. You'll see bags hanging from trees. Recently, we got a lot of snow. there was no snow removal for the first day and a half. Then someone came along, and shoveled a little bit by the doorways, but you had to step over 2 foot mounds to get there. It took 3 more days (and another 2 snows) for someone to completely clear the snow both on walkways and parkinglots. not too safe. Parking seems to be a problem, only because those who have permits have nowhere to park, because there are a lot of inoperable or abandoned cars taking up residents spaces. I have had 2 diffrent occations with police asking all sorts of questions about neighbors. Yes, this is definately far from being the mariot of apartment complex, this is more like motel 6. They'll leave the light on for you.
People like myself work hard for their money, I would have liked to stay here longer, because of the proximity to the highway, but I'm going to take my money elsewhere, where more of it counts.
