The new owners that are taking over are not going to make a 24 month lease they are gonna take your lease right away from you and evict most of you because they are turning your complex into a Retirement community. They are having their leasing agents lie to you and tell you CRAP but what is really happening is that you are all gonna loose you place to live

Just so you know, if you have a lease for 1 year or more, it is valid and it does not matter if new owners take over the building or not. The lease is still valid. If you have a 24 month lease, you do not have to move out until your lease is up. (24 months)

how would anyone know what is going on when they don't inform tenants of anything? No notice went out stating they were doing any renovations and some tenants were refused a new lease when their lease was up because they want the apartment for construction, they were not offered another apartment just told to move. They are turning all the three bedrooms into condo's...why would anyone want to pay to own a half assed referbed unit? Woodridge was better off selling the land for new develpment! When inspections were done the village asked how the window are, if you like old outdated windows that leak cold air and are covered with ice during the winter months than let them pass inspection. New management does not care, they just want to make a buck and do what they want to do without any regard to the people living here. |
