Bugs in the warmer months. You can smell the neighbor's food cooking inside your apartment. You can hear people through the walls. The Fire alarms go off in the middle of the night all the time. Their laundry rooms will only wash/dry your clothes if you are willing to pay about $10 per load. They will not notify you of your lease ending and will then keep your security deposit. Parking sucks, and you end up parking 400 yards from your door. Not to mention these 50 year old units aren't even worth half what you pay for them. Raccoons will try to attack you when you take your garbage out.

What do you mean they don't notify you when your lease is ending??? They notified us in February that our new lease for April was ready for signing. Maybe they didn't want you to stay.
