I moved into the commons in Feb 2005 and I currently live here. I have put up with so much crap since I have lived here. The apartments are "nice" but the construction quality is really pathetic! My sliding door leaked from the first day I moved in and they finally fixed the problem in the fall of 2006. The water leak damage my property and the management refused to replace anything that was damaged. The maintenance staff is very incompetent and usually cannot fix the problem the right away and you have to keep asking them to re-fix things. I had considerate neighbors for the first 1 1/2 yrs and my new neighbors are terrible. They argue and fight daily and the walls are so thin I feel like I'm right in the room with them. I see people get their cars towed daily for no reason and I fear everyday that I'm next to get my car towed and will have to pay the price to get it out ($200 !) Living here has caused me so much stress and sleepless nights due to the noise and everything else that does on around here. I CAN'T wait until my lease ends this Feb. Im outa here and I never want to look back! The rent is the only thing that keeps me here but at this point I just cant take the stress of living here anymore. I would NOT recommend that anyone live here no matter if the rent is cheap or not.
