Since Woodstock Commons has come under new management, the problems have gotten even worse...and believe me, they were bad to begin with!
If you are planning on moving in, be prepared to deal with a management staff that is completely incompetent and unable to answer your questions or figure out how to correctly calculate your security deposit. The new female manager they have also likes to fabricate lies and stories about her tenants and then shares confidential information with other tenants. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
The maintenance crew is nonexistent. I have a large hole in my wall caused by the maintenace crew trying to 'fix' something...it's been almost a year and still has not been fixed. After asking week after week, I finally gave up! I was told by management if I didn't fix the hole, I would be charged for the damage caused when I moved out....the damage that THEY caused!!
The walls are EXTREMELY thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do. If you are a person who likes a quite home, don't move here. You can hear everything your neighbors do...and I mean everything! Don't bother complaining to management, they will tell you they are going to do something, and then go and tell your neighbors what you had to say to try and start problems. If you continue to complain about problems, they will threaten to evict you because you are "being uncooperative". I didn't know 'uncooperative' was a word and I also didnt' know one could be evicted for such. Just another way to show what morons they have running the office.
I can't stand living here and can't wait until I move.
If you are smart you will look at other places. All this company wants is your money and doesn't provide you half of the serivces they lure you in with.

YES YES YES! Talk to your neighbors and the Northwest Herald! Woodstock Commons not only has bad management they are also LAW BREAKERS! Many of the people living here are low SES levels and Oakbrook is taking advantage of that- And that is not right! Go out and take pictures of the grounds to show the trash- Keep notes on all communication (or atempted communication) with the management. Moving is what they want "problems" to do. Be "uncooporative"- ha ha
