I moved in right before Oakbrook took over the management at Woodstock Commons. I was unsure from the start, however the price was in my budget. I did not like the old management because of different lies and unfullfilled promises. Now, I REALLY do not like the management! I was out of town- only to come home to an apartment that had been "inspected." When I left for vacation I knew exactly how I left my home. When I came home things were moved and lights were left on. (Who is responsible for that bill') When I contacted the office they acted like they had done nothing wrong! Infact! They actually told me that the illegal inspection was "good for me." "Good for me'" They said they had big plans to fix things. I found out why. The state is comming to inspect the property and units! Oakbrook is only trying to cover their own asses! Do yourself and your family a favor and move somewhere else!!!!!!!

Please contact Jen at the Northwest Herrald and Target5 through NBC5 in Chicago. We need to stop them from doing this!

you people are idiots. they do these inspections every year. read your lease. this is a nice place to live if your not a pycho like whoever is starting this so called movement. if you dont like it here, leave, the rest of us would be more than happy to see you go.

anonymous, I have read my lease and all of section 42. I can't help but wonder who "the rest of us" are. Are they people who do not care about their rights as renters? And you, calling names is completely unecessary. Generally it takes one to know one. Makes me laugh! Good luck when you have a problem.

Anonymous, I can't help but wonder, do you work for this ---- regime, or are you just so brainwashed, and trussed up to be a sheep that you don't care if your rights are getting trampled. Yes, Inspections happen, but they are REQUIRED to give 24 hours notice, lease, and the law say so. "the rest of us" really must be an ignorant bunch if they feel like they need to get on people for standing up for themselves.
