Promises, promises, promises...

I lived in this apartment for three months before my dishwasher worked. I lived in this apartment six days before my hot water heater worked. I lived in this apartment seven hours before the kitchen flooded (and the emergency maintenance pager was broken). The doorknobs were loose, the switchplates were loose, and the light in the bathroom never worked. They did removed the light after two months, and left a four inch diameter hole in the ceiling. The hole was still there when I moved out. I wrote numerous work requests, but to no avail. Don't believe a thing they tell you even if it is in writing. I wrote to the management company (in Texas), but I never heard back. No one associated with this complex cares about anything past getting your rent check. I was never even offered a break for all the hassel I put up with.
