I just moved out of Anderson, and I had been living at Hilltop Apartments for a litlle over 2 years. I have seen a major improvement in the people living in the complex. The management has been working to clean it up and they are fair and reasonable in their decisions. They always stand by what they say, and enforce the rules at all times. The people that like not having rules are the ones that do not like the new management because they enforce them. The only thing that embarrassed me was the other people living there and their actions when asked by the management to change something to make the apartments better. The managers have put in new windows, carpet, and have updated the look of the outside of the apartments. They have been through a few different workers, but sometimes change is for the better. I would reccommend these apartments for anyone who wants a large apartment for a little rent. As far as the security deposit goes, I got back what was owed to me, but I turned in my 30 day notice and left an address for the deposit to be sent. I read my lease, so I knew that some of my deposit was going to be kept for redecorating my apartment, which I understood was for repainting, small repairs, etc. My current apartment does the same thing. If I ever moved back to Anderson, I would definately live in these apartments!
