Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I just signed my 3rd lease here. The rent was kind of high our first year, $764 for a 2-BR (which we could afford since my hubby and I both worked full time). Then we had a baby and I stopped working. They dropped our rent to $635 so we could stay! They worked with us to keep the price low on our 3rd lease too. Gina was a nasty woman, but I don't think she's here anymore, and if she is, I never see her (we drop our rent in the overnight box). Maintenance is good and so are the neighbors. My biggest complaint is that the kitchen has very little cabinet space, but the built in microwave, double sink, and self cleaning oven SERIOUSLY make up for that. Lots of parking and lighting, very safe, WONDERFUL landscaping, windows are drafty in the winter, but if you call maintenance, they come and weatherstrip them...they even changed out my air filters before I turned the heat on every year. Also as far as I know, this is the only neighborhood in Avon that has Comcast cable instead of crummy brighthouse. I've had no problem with bugs (but there are lots of ladybugs in the fall). Overall, a great place to live if it's affordable.
