Ok first off everyone has talked about how bad this place is except one person and she need to get out from under the desk and get a life but people are right about the raw sewage smell and that is no joke. It would have been nice if ---- would have told my wife and I that there was a raw sewage plant behind the complex other wise we would have never had come to this dump. There s no insulation between the floors so you can hear everything your upstairs neighbore's are doing from going to the bathroom, opening doors in the unit and yes the worst of all HAVING SEX didn t know I was living in a porn movie. Another draw back to this wonderful complex is Washington Quarters has its own cable service if you value TV don t get mad cause you wont get HD here and half the time either channels don t come in or there s lines thru the picture. They also have there own Internet service, which sucks cause it has a lot Lag on downloads and its like having dialup at times. There is no option of having Comcast, Brighthouse and if you have Satellite prepare for complex to charge you for having a dish on your porch. This was truly a life experience and a very bad mistake I would not recommend this place to anybody. You over pay for what you get and there s a fee for everything you do in here.If you put in a maintenance ticket dont make plan's to do anything you will either be waiting on them to finish the project"which for exsample they replace my water heater and it took them all day into the evening hours" or waiting for them to show up if they do.A Message for Management and personal you need to leave and be replace with people who know what there doing and who are kind and want to keep people and not hide details to sell a unit.

Well I'm a renter at Washington Quarters who is neither under the desk or short on having a life - if fact I am quite busy. I at one time lived near the water facility and there was "occassionally" an odor that was not pleasant by any means. However I have found the management to be so responsive to my every need and so polite that I decided to transfer to the front of the complex where I have yet to smell that offensive odor. A little bit of my background - before retirement I was a Certified Property Manager - managing over 1100 units at one time. I know management - and I have found this management to be above the norm. I have been here for five years and don't intend to move unless my destiny takes me to another location.

"Occasionally" an odor? So when did every single night and morning become occasionally? Maybe since you've lived there for 5 years you are accustomed to the smell and occasionally forget that the smell is there. Good for you that the smell is not always noticable, but its there pretty much every day. I've lived there for a while now and I too have gotten used to the smell and don't notice it EVERY day, but if you have friends come over, they will notice it for sure. Maybe the above person was okay with moving to another unit in the complex because of the smell, but I like to move in and stay there for a while once I get everything situated. Not all of us like to pick a place and then have to move again because of a smell.
I wouldn't say the office staff is ALWAYS rude and incompetant, but they definitely have their moments. I'm a "certified apartment resident" and I've dealt with over 10 different apartment offices over several years and I have to say this is the worst one I've dealt with. I understand that residents can be a bunch of whiners and I know they have to take a hard stand with the tenants that are habitually late and cause problems, but I've never caused ANY problems for anyone around me, I pay my rent on time EVERY time yet I feel like that does not matter at all. Any time I've tried to bring up issues relating to the smoke smell in the common areas or issues with vandalism, the issue has just been pushed under the rug and they act like they could care less. Maintenance issues have always been addressed quickly, but the office staff sucks. There is a new manager of the complex so maybe things will get better, but time will tell.
