My husband and I lived there for a year, and couldn't leave that place soon enough. When we first went in to look at an apartment the staff was extremly helpful and friendly. Don't let that fool you though. It changed as soon as we moved in and started having problems with our cable and internet. It took them at one point 3 weeks to fix our internet, and they tried to blame it on the cable cord we were using. When that same cord works fine anywhere else! Coming from someone who pays almost all of the bills online, this was a HUGE problem. Only that didn't matter to them. I expressed I had bills to pay and needed my internet fixed A.S.A.P. and she simply told me to use the computer in the clubhouse. I don't know about anyone else but I would never pay my bills on someone elses computer!!! Then when our garbage disposal wouldn't work they said they found broken pieces of glass in it! Ridiculous! I never even used that thing! I think they are disgusting and germ infested. But we had to pay for it! If the horrible, rude, useless, most unhelpful staff doesn't scare you away the raw sewage smell will!!! We lived in the very back next to the treatment plant and it was HORRIBLE!!! I have never lived somewhere where the smell is so awful!!! I have known 4 other people that have lived there, and they have had the same expierence my husband and I had. The last month my husband and I simply couldn't stand it anymore. We payed our months rent and we moved out a month early, only we didn't give them the keys until the day we were "supposed" to leave. I wasn't letting that place get any extra money by renting it out sooner then they could. I tell everyone I hear say anything about that place not to move in and run for your life!!!!!

I've commented a couple times about the place now and I wanted to confirm again that the smell is awful as well. No one ever notices the smell when they check out the apartment complex because it generally doesn't smell during the day when you would tour the place, nor do they take you anywhere near the sewage treatment facility (for obvious reasons) when you are touring. I understand it is a business and they would never have anyone move in there if they knew there was a sewage facility right next door, but "renter beware" on this one because they hook you in and then you realize you've been duped and you can do nothing about it. I can honestly say I haven't had any issues with the maintenance staff and that everything has been addressed relatively quickly and easily, but I can definitely understand disappointment with the management office. There is one lady in particular that is the worst customer service person I have ever met. I've only ever known of one person in the office that was helpful and friendly and she has since left. The fact that the place smells awful, the management is unfriendly and unhelpful, they've started charging to swim in the pools, and taken away the common computer is enough to outweigh any potential positives that the place has. If there was a management staff with more than a high school degree and competency level better than a fastfood worker along with a location away from the "Crap Factory" (aka Water Treatment Facility) I would definitely recommend the place. I like to give people and companies the benefit of the doubt, but would not recommend anyone moving to this place until there are some major changes.
