Okay, I don?t know where half of you are used to living but what keeps people like me and my fellow Americans above the rest of the world is having a set of high standards.

As far as when I first moved in, everything seemed really nice. But then after living here over a year you actually get to experience some of the things that aren?t so great.

I guess the first and most frustrating thing I noticed (since I don?t have washer and dryer hookups, but an extra closet--woohoo) was that every time you would go to the laundry room, you could never get change; the machine was out of order. It wasn?t until someone SMASHED it in that they finally replaced it with a new one.

I never use the workout facility because it is laughable. Apparently neither does the person who lives above me who tends to run on his treadmill and bang weights all over the place. I got a membership to Gold?s in Greenwood instead and that turned out pretty much like Willow Glen. (More on that later)

The hot tub seemed like it was a nice amenity, but just like the laundry room you get all changed to go over to use it, and low and behold it?s broken.

The basketball courts: Boy I really do like playing basketball. Too bad I have to play somewhere other than the courts that they have at Willow Glen because people don?t respect the place and have completely ripped one rim off and bent another rim all the way down on their courts.

Geese: I love getting attacked by geese every time I step out of my apartment to go to my car or even try to enjoy the nice "lake view" that I am charged an extra $20 a month for. Some view, which also includes loads and loads of geese crap. They said they were going to install net on the "LAKE" to discourage the geese from making nests etc. But all I saw were the neighbors out there graciously feeding the flying vermin. Maybe those tenants should have adopted them as pets and let them move in with them, which brings me to my next point.

Animals: When I signed my lease I was told I can not have any pets of ANY kind. Not even a goldfish in a small bowl. Since then I have seen a few dogs and cats going in and out of the apartments with their owners.

I agree with the comments of another reviewer that there are campers, semis, and boats all parked conveniently throughout the complex instead of where they belong. A local storage facility.

I am not slamming any one person, or even blaming the management for these things that I have pointed out. Each individual tenant is responsible to help upkeep and maintain where they live. It?s called personal pride. And I am NOT proud to live there.

For those that are proud to live in Willow Glen and are interested in joining a gym you might want to check out the Greenwood Gold?s for the nice trashy, trailer park, equipment from my basement atmosphere. Maybe if I was from Kentucky it would be an upgrade.

The only thing I can do about the situation is buy my own house, which I did. Now I can be happy and live how I want and even deduct it from my taxes.
