Not great, go somewhere else

Willow Glenn is okay, I have lived at worse. I think it's funny the walls are so thin I can hear my neighbor peeing sometimes when I'm getting ready for work in the morning.
I have been there for just over a year and went ahead and resigned my lease because I really just didn't want to move again, I have a lot of stuff!
The management is decent, there's really only one girl I like. The grounds are nice, I've always thought it was pretty, but when I moved in I was very disappointed. Cold air leaks in very badly from the old french-style doors leading to the patio. The appliances are old and though my dishwasher has broken twice they still won't replace it. I use it as a drying rack and wash them by hand because otherwise it coats everything with white stuff.
The carpet is terrible, it had dog hair all over it, built up in the corners, when I moved in and after throwing a huge fit I finally got them to agree to clean it, when it really needed replaced. It is still pulling away from the walls, and I completely agree with the mold that other have mentioned, the first few months I lived here I had two consecutive bouts of strep throat and then got pneumonia shortly after. After going three years without much of anything except a cold here and there, I spent the first 3 months really sick and 3 months after that trying to get over head colds. I think my body finally adjusted to it.
They also don't make people pick up after their pets, it's sick. And the geese poop on everything, I can't take my son on a bikeride without getting goose poop on my shoes. There aren't many children around the strip of apartments I live in, at least none that come out, and the playground with more equipment is owned by the apartment complex and there are horrid mouthed unsuperivsed children out there all the time, I take my son to other parks to play.
Other than that after I got over some of the intitial gripes I find my apartment very homey. Hopefully though my next move will be to a house where i don't have to hear the neighbors baby cry every night! You can get a lot worse in Indianapolis though and the loacation is great, close to Greenwood, close to Downtown, and for me I'm close to my family.
Oh and one more thing, the dryer vents are in the ceiling (at least if you live on the first floor) so it drys clothes very slowly! It drive me nuts!
