If your thinking about living in any of the apartments managed by Mill. Prop Management , DONT! These people are very aware of the fact that they can take full advantage of college students. I lived there for a year and I regretted every minute of it. When I originally went in to sign the lease the office staff was "more than helpful" to answer my questions and show me the property. The apartments at Adams Grove are nice, but don't let them fool you. After I signed my lease the nightmare began. I gave them my security deposit of $325 and that was the last I ever saw of that money. The check was cashed within the hour! I called several times inquiring about my apartment and when certain move in dates were and general questions. I was met with very rude and cold responses from the staff. I foud it simply amazing how one moment they were willing to come after hours and show me the place, but after they knew I signed the lease they wouldn't return my calls. The main manager Angela should not be trusted, she lies and tell you what you want to hear then doesnt do anything! The stairs are never salted and are very dangerous, i lived on the 3rd floor, the parking is always full and they plow behind your car after they get arounfdto it. If you are one day late on your rent they charge you $50.00! I got to their office at 6:00 while they were closing and gave them my rent check on the dy it was due. She said, and I quote, "Im sorry, I just logged out of my computer, your going to have to wait until tomorrow when I get back to give me that check, and it will be another $50.00." This is an example of how rude, cold, and uncaring the staff s at Mill. Prop Management. They will file for eviction after `12 days! Are you serious' Before I left to go to New York over break I left my check for January in their drop box at the office bc I wasnt going to be there. I received several harassing phone calls over the break, stating that if I didnt pay my rent they would file eviction and I would have to pay the costs. I returned with a note on my door saying I had 24 hours to vacate the building or police force would be used. THIS IS ALL TRUE, THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! I was charged another $50.00 for my supposed "late" payment and the mysterious missing check was never found. These people are by far the worst offenders in Bloomington when it comes to screwing over students. There activities are borderline and often are criminal. I have read every review on this page and they are all true, I wouldnt take this much time to write this if I didnt feel I was helping you avoid such a mistake. They ruined my credit by filing for eviction. They "lose" or "never receive" your checks all the time. Oh an the part about your deposit, its true...you will never get it back. Dont waste your time with them. Bring up these reviews to them and they get pretty nervous and give you a load of bs about how everyone is lying! Ha, I have made sure to tell all my friends about this place and I hope you heed my warning. Best of luck!

Regarding your missing check. Someone could think you absent mindedly forgot to give it to them, but from my experience and many other internet reviews; it seems that millennium might be pocketing a little extra cash. I was late once in four years around Christmas. I had no idea they hadn't cashed my check until they left a phone message telling me I would be "served" with a court notice. When I talked to millennium, I told them I had no idea they didn't have the rent and was angry that they had never notified me. Their reply was "we are not responsible for telling you that we did not recieve your payment". They said they sent e-mail messages. I looked in my e-mail account and what a surprise, through a search I found every billing announcement they had sent for the last 4 years; yet no late notices showed up. Then they forward copies of the messages to me. Interestingly, in the same breadth they mentioned a problem with their computer system not sending messages out, yet they were sure they had notified me by e-mail. What a nice little profit for them around Christmas time.
