Today, I helped my friend move into Arbor Glen. It was his first day as a client of the complex, and had been instructed to park as close to the door as possible while unloading his things. Since many of his possessions were in my vehicle, I also parked as close to the door as possible (without occupying a handicap space). After only thirty-five minutes of unloading, I returned to my parking space to find that my vehicle had been towed. I approached the night manager and explained my situation. She told me that it was more or less my problem, and refused to call the towing company for me. Finally, after explaining that my cell was in the missing car, I was allowed to use the telephone. The towing company explained that my vehicle was to be held until they received $110.00, cash. The night manager went on to tell me that she would do nothing about the towed vehicle, even though they hired the towing company and I was merely allowing one of her new clients use my car while moving into her complex. When I asked for her manager??s contact information, the night manager got extremely angry and began shouting, and waving her finger at me. She told me that she would never give me that information, since I was not a client. My friend, however, is allowed to get the information in the morning. I guess she really wanted to get home! It really does smell bad too!
