Our first problem started on move in day.... we had a truck load of stuff with a bunch of friends to help us move and they couldn't find the key the apartment!! So after excuses about them needing to change the locks, maintenance let us in. The staff was very rude about this and not concerned that it was nearly 90 degrees outside and we had to have the rental truck back by 5pm. After living there a few months, we were regretting our decision. The other tenants were trashy and most didn't even work. There were broken down cars in the parking lot, the walls were paper thin. Lots of unruly kids there, no parental supervision. My boyfriends' car was broken into 3 times! Not a safe place, a man was shot in the parking lot while I was living there. Lots of crime and drugs. Maintenance at this place was a joke. They would mow the grass at 6am on Saturdays and would not salt the stairs in the winter. Luckily we never needed to call them for any major repairs. I do not recommend this place.

Well for one Maintenance staff has never cut the grass, Arlington Park doesn't even own a lawn mower, they have sub contractors come in to mow. Second thing, it was not 90 degrees when you moved in it was 78 degrees and I was not rude to you, I simply apoligized for the misunderstanding. thirdly, if your car was broken into three times, why didnt you notify the leasing office. I have NEVER received any notices that your car was broken into. Stairs have always been salted by maintenance staff that is thier #1 priority in the winter, I know because I always went out Everyday to make sure it was done. ... Drugs and unruley children were delt with if a complaint of suspision was placed. Lastly, I am sorry you were unhappy at this community, but you really should not lie.

I just moved in and I love it! as far as other tenants being trashy I have yet to see that, As far as kids go, obviously you are not a parent... I have yet to find a "perfect" kid but I think the kids here are great! As far as your car getting broken into you should have turned that in so it could be dealt with appropriately, as far as a man getting shot your going to get that everywhere.. are you aware that a man got shot in a park in a "well to do" neighborhood so I do not believe that this place had anything to do with it, I have also came here many times visiting friends I have walked the steps many times in the winter I had never had a problem so I don't know what your talking about, The lawn service has several jobs they have to do during the day so what if they show up that early at least it was done, Maintenance is awesome here I see them driving around all the time cleaning the grounds constantly Staff is great, friendliest I have ever seen in a place, Paper thin walls are everywhere here in Bloomington so good luck finding one that don't This place is surprisingly quiet and calm, and I am very sorry that your expectations are extremely high your better off moving to the country on a Amish homestead to get the quality of life your wanting
