Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
Things were fine while I lived there (except for the fact that everything falls apart) unitl almost 10 months after I moved out. I got a letter from a collection ajency that I owed $150 in extra fees and $150 in attornys fees! The law says that they have 45 days to send an itemized list of money owed from the security deposit. They are ignoring the law and trying to get as much money as they can knowing that most people will just pay! You have two choices...live somewhere else or learn your rights as a tenant.
