The apartment is a thing of beauty. The grounds are well kept, fireplace, filtered water, garden bath tubs, Deck! The community is quiet, and the rent is reasonable.

Problems arose when leaving the apartment. My roommates and I did not receive our deposit back?we were actually charged money. Included was a list of absurd charges. Including a charge for shampooing of the carpet, which we had professionally cleaned. A hundred dollars to clean a bathroom, which was spotless. Hundreds of dollars for a ?patch and paint.?

My advice to future tenants is to take a lot of picturesvideo before you exit. And have a good lawyer on hand.

Taking a lot of pictures and videos won't help you because Deer Park is out to make you look like a bad tenant and make a run on your pocket book even if you leave the unit in the same condition as when you first entered. Advice to anyone: rent from a more reputable landlord than Deer Park Management.
