The complex itself is nice, especially compared to other Bloomington apartments. HOWEVER, there are two major problems with it. First, any maintenance request placed takes at least 3-4 calls before they finally send someone to check on it and repairs take a long time too. Second, they attempt to charge you for their normal wear and tear repairs when you leave and anything else they can possibly make up. I left the apartment much better than when I moved it, taking hours to be sure to clean the entire apartment and scrub the walls. A month later they send a bill for painting totaling over $1,000! A neighbor friend of mine said they sent her a bill for $1,700 for carpet replacement despite there being no stains on her carpet when she moved out. Both of us were present at move out inspections but the inspector refused to let either of us see the move out list and did not say anything except that they would review the charges and get back to us. When asked about the charges, the staff were very rude and would not explain why we were being charged. My neighbor and I both had to go to small claims court to get our deposits back and to keep from paying over $1,000 in additional claimed damages.
