My time here wasn't the nightmare some people seem to have experienced.

The management is unprofessional, and the office staff is mostly students who work part-time. They try, but they don't always know what they're doing. The woman who runs the complex is barely older than I am (and I'm 22). To her credit though, she lives in Bradford Place so she's always around and is aware of what's happening in the complex. I had problems getting charges fixed a couple of times, and getting a packaged I thought was lost, and I don't think this would happen if the property were managed better.

It's convenient to the bus routes, you can take the #3 and the #6. Pet deposit was a bit steep, I thought, and I know they're raising it even more this coming year. I was able to get a 10 month lease, which I liked, and a furnished apartment. I hated hearing my neighbors with their ridiculous bass and parties next door, but that's because they are douchebags and not necessarily the complex's fault.

There are always parking spaces available even if you can't park right on the exact side of the building that you want. My visitors never had a problem finding parking either, and none were ever towed. I thought my room was plenty big (I lived in a 2 bedroom), our kitchen appliances were nice, and came with a stacked washer and dryer. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which I really liked. I personally liked the pool and the clubhouse (which had free tanning, computer lab, fitness room).

The one thing that made up for almost every fault I found: THE SHUTTLE. It runs to campus on the hour and half hour, and it was so convenient for getting to class (especially when I missed the bus...). During rush hour, of course it runs late, but people need to get over it - it's rush hour traffic. I wish it made a couple more stops, but this service was great. I personally didn't take advantage of this, but they recently started running a late-night shuttle to the bars on weekends. Also they provided nice little touches like free hot breakfast, free meal nights in the clubhouse, cookies and snacks in the lobby, etc. They do try to personalize their service, even though they're lacking in some areas.

I don't think I would rent here again, but I really liked living on the east side of town, and I don't regret having lived at Bradford Place.
