Oh my goodness. I didn't know they made apartments this nice, and I've lived in some nice ones. Everything is so new, and so pretty. I moved in very recently to find everything absolutely spotless and sparkling, with a smell of paint and carpet cleaner in the air. Additional move-in bonuses were toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, a laundry basket, and bottled water all provided.

The manager that I have most often dealt with actually lives a few doors away, and I have seen other members of the management living there as well. I think the maintenance people live there too. I don't know if the security officer lives there or not. The first thing management does when I encounter them is to smile and ask in a friendly way how everything is going with my move-in, if everything works and everything.

This is all so impressive to me because I am coming from a bad experience in an apartment which will remain unnamed (MAXWELL TERRACE). I've gone into detail in my review of that place, so I won't write any more here other than to say that Canterbury house is the exact opposite of Maxwell in pretty much every way. People seem genuinely happy just to be at home when I see them at Canterbury house. People walk around with young children or pets, cook out, do gardening, and introduce themselves. The landscaping is nice; being out in the woods is wonderful, and I have a lovely view of fields and trees outside my bedroom window. I love the nine-foot ceilings and two full baths- roomy baths! Plenty of plugs and phone jacks, lots of shelf/closet/pantry storage, doorbell, clean and well-maintained appliances...

As I said in the subject line, I can't find the catch. I'll definitely post an update if I find one, but if there's no update, be assured that everything is still perfect at Canterbury House.
