Would NEVER Go Back!

We lived there for a few years and at first it was a very nice place to live. The parking was a problem but that was it, AT FIRST. Sometimes we would have to park two or three buildings down.
Winter time was a nightmare. They didn't plow the streets and when they did, they would block your car in and you would have to work for hours to get it dug out. Plus they didn't put down salt on the streets.
The kids around there run wild with no parents watching them. They screamed and yelled and ran around with no control. Sometimes they would be out there at 1 am making so much noise!
I dont know how many time I saw cops and fire trucks, but at least once a week for sure you would see one or the other and sometimes both in the same day for different reasons.
Canterbury employees were always coming into the apartment, once it was three times in a month!
Everyone I talked to that lived there was happy to leave at the end of there lease. The apartment rates (which were high any ways) went up more and they started charging for water (which was free before and one of the few perks of the place).
There was one nice employee in the office and the rest just wanted to hurry you through what ever problem you had without caring about it. I even had one start screaming at me and cussing and all I wanted to know was if I should be worried about the fire truck infront of my apartment.
The woods (that we loved when we moved in) that surround the apartments are getting torn down for more apartments to go up.
There are a couple perks, the management was friendly, they did have a lot of activities for the children, a nice pool and if you did have a problem, maintance was usually there the same day or early the next day.

I currently live here and have only seen two ambulences (at different times) since we moved in in August. As for kids, I've never had a problem with them running around at late hours. As for the people coming into the apartments, I've read that on another review and have never encountered this multiple times during the month. I do know they do inspections on a quarterly basis, but that's all I've ever seen them come in. As for the staff, I've always been treated extremely friendly and they've been very helpful too.

The plowing, or lack of, is a joke! My husband walked out and noticed they had shoveled snow onto his car!!! Although they did shovel the sidewalks, they did not plow the roads at all. It seems they wait a day or two to see if it's really necessary. Sometimes this will present a HUGE problem as the slushy mix turns into ice...lovely.
