Not quite what I was hoping for...

Despite the somewhat idyllic setting, I found the staff to be a bit cold and even rude sometimes. They are also much more strict with "rules" than any other place I've lived in Bloomington (and I've lived in several). First of all, they will tow your car if they EVER see a flat tire, an oil leak, or no tags, and they will not let you know that they are towing it. They towed my friend's car just because her tag was on her dashboard instead of hanging from her mirror, and later said they just didn't like the way the car looked -that it made the place look like a ghetto. My friend went outside one day, and her car was gone. They apparently put a sticker on the window one day, and towed it the next. She never saw it coming, and they did not offer to help her get her car back. The newsletters they send out every month often have an ominous tone to them, with such blurbs as: "If your children are caught writing with chalk or berries on the sidewalks, you will be fined and the children will be made to clean it up!" It was very hard to feel welcome at this community.
