Im writing this review because Im very upset in the customer service and how us residents get treated here. Im a resident who pays their rent on time if not early and the reason why Im very upset is from the recent snow that hit our area. I know it was 12 inches of snow or more that we had got but the way management had taken care of the situtation was crazy. The parking lot had been crazy for a week and that was after the snow had stopped. It took them two days to do anything about it and the only thing they did was had the maint man use a 4wheeler type of vehicle that had a blade attached to it to shovel the snow wherever and nothing against him cause I give him the most credit for at least trying cause I did not see anyone else out there helping him but the snow was shoveled behind cars where you couldnt get out or if you did you couldnt get in. It was a nightmare and unsafe like I said for at least a week and there was no excuse for it the job could have been done better and more appropriate. It was like they didnt want to spend the money or the time to do it right the first time and have our residents safe they would rather do a half ass job and as I question is it the company itself or is it the people who they have up in the office and the company itself is letting them get by with it or do they know what really goes on here on the property either way I hold the company as a whole fully responsible for this. And since the snow was just pushed anywhere and everywhere even the trash man wouldnt even pick up the trash and you had dumpsters overflowing with trash where it was an eye soar. So in this event I spoke to some of my neighbors and other residents who I guess has lived here for years and they are almost in tears of how this place has gone down hill over a year and half time spand. They feel like if they go up in the office and make a complaint or concern either the manager is no where to be found or the other person up there the assistant manager says she will send a notice or wants you to sign a complaint form and sign your legal rights away to the smallest complaint of a noise. Where is the three rule strike and your out' It sounds like they just dont want to do their job and handle the situations head on. And that is if we even get into the door to the office to make a complaint due to it being closed all the time or at least every other day and now they are not even open on Saturdays. Another thing Im upset about is when I signed my lease to move in the gym was supose to be open 24 hours and for the longest time it is only open during office hours well if the office is closed all the time how are we supose to enjoy what we pay for "the gym" at all' I also heard threw the rumor mill that the maint supervisor was trading items such as new blinds to residents for her xanax habit and that is just one of the many rumors that residents are talking about of the people who is in charge up there in the office. What kind of people have they got up there the only few good things I hear about anybody up there is the maint. guy but there are a few who cant deal with how he talks to them. and speaking of maintenance on top of the snow issue I have had this cold air draft that is even coming threw my electrical sockets and nothing can be done about it but in the mean time my electric bill has went sky high during the winter months. And maybe they can not do anything about it but they dont act like they want to even take the time to see or they are never out or around other than the maint guy who picks up the trash or is with the bug guy. Yes I am a very upset customer and if any residents reads this and are having problems as well you do have rights being a tenant as well here is a number you can call with complaints or concerns which is the hand office 349-3420 and from the neighbors or residents I have talk to and if you are on goverment assistance call your case worker and ask for janet tieree who is in charge and from what I hear she is handling alot of the complaints about the situations other than what I have mentioned for canterbury house apartments. For residents who already live here if you have any more information that will help please share with others and maybe things that need to change will and for people who are considering living here the apartment itself is nice has alot of closet space but the rent keeps rising once you get in and the just with the way management and staff handle things its really not worth it for the price you pay.
