Decent place to live

Although the management was not ALWAYS truthful, they were friendly. My aparment got a massive case of spiders at the end, which my boyfriend is highly allergic to. They kept promising to help out, then after a few weeks said that it was not their problem. Also, they said that there was a bus that was near the apartment that ran ever 10-15 minutes, but the bus outside the house came every half an hour. Not a big difference, but the buses were either always really late or really early!
The management, when we moved in, said that electricity would only be about $50 a month, which was great. Except that it ended up being more towards $100 because the windows that were supposed to be replaced shortly after we moved in, didn't get replaced until after Spring Break....leaving massive cracks in the window all wintertime. They "fixed" this problem by nailing the window shut, so when spring came my windows wouldn't open! One more thing, while most of the maintence was fixed on time and correctly, my toilet broke on a Friday after hours, to the point that water was running everywhere and it wouldn't flush. They made me wait to fix it until Monday! I, obviously, couldn't wait that long so I took the parts and fixed it myself, which they then refused to pay me back for because they would have fixed it later... but my bathroom was flooded most of the weekend!!
