Nice place -- high electric bills!

Meadow Park has been a alright place to live, especially for the price. However, be aware of relatively high electric bills ($120/mo, but I've heard people run as much as $180). The insulation is not very good because the apartments are old. The heat escapes quickly. Other than that, it's an okay place to live.

This place sucks, but no one would have ever guessed by just looking at it from the outside. The grounds are kept up when it's not snowing, the buildings are decent looking, and the apartment(s) that they show you are actually really nice. However, don't be fooled by their lies and advertising. The insulation is exceptionally poor and it's far from quiet here. I was told that the electric bills run around $80 bucks a month but that wasn't the case. My bills were exceptionally higher. I have also heard of other people's heating and cooling units coming on and off without notice and they were turned off completely, so that indicates a shortage somewhere. That could possibly be part of the problem in reference to the high electric bills. You know what, they always say never judge a book by its cover but in this instance it will definitely be worth your while if you forgo this property since it's nothing more than just an overpriced dump.

Yeah, the night it was -1 degree, the heat shut off. I called maintenance and the guy asked me why I couldn't turn my stove on and leave it open overnight. Excuse me? I mean, yeah I REALLY want to just set myself on fire. Thanks for your concern.
