The Pretty Liars Meadow Park

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2009
I lived there almost four years. When I moved in first time I was assigned an empty 2BR/1BA apartment which was vacated by a student recently. The apartment was NOT renovated, and it has some damaged carpet( somebody has moved out recently).Later I had noticed that my apartment's elec. bill is so high that all of my roommates surprised to hearing that: during the winter the monthly bill is usually between 250 290, and around 250 during the summer even I usually spent most of my time in the Main Library. After I called Duke energy, they come and checked and said that there is nothing wrong with my elec. wire system. Its been always the same during that period while other's was around 80$.
When I moved out this summer, I cleaned the entire apartment before check it out. A month later I received a notification from the leasing office which required me to pay $480 in addition to the deducted $100 deposit. It says "you damaged the carpet and the door". They were already damaged when I moved in, and now they require me to pay for that. They're liars!!!
If you're going to move in Meadow Park, there are some suggestions for you:
1.try to change your mind and find another apartment.
2.if you can't change your mind, request the leasing office to assign a renovated apartment.
3. if you're assigned an empty, but not renovated apartment, be ready to pay for the damages made by previous tenants. It usually costs you couple of hundred dollars.
