My girlfriend and I are currently living at Steeplechase Apartments. When i first moved in i could not have asked for a better experience, the office staff was very friendly (they even remembered the name of my dog) Any time i had an issue, i would come in and tell one of the 3 people in the office (there were 2 girls sitting in the office as soon as you came in, and there was also a guy that would be more than happy to help as well) If it was a maintenace issue, the office staff would have maintenance in my apartment that day. After the new year i stopped by the office to put in a maintenance request, i noticed the office staff had changed. The new staff did not know my name, or what my apartment number was ( i know thats not a huge deal, but when you get used to the staff knowing exactly who you are, asking about my dog, to walking into the office, and feeling as if you are just another face to the staff, i don't like it) I did receive a letter around October stating the current property manager was leaving, and we had a new one. well, let me tell you about the new one, when i walked into the office (she is in the office to the right if you are facing the office) she is VERY loud, and honestly rude. The other girl that is in there is very quiet, but seems to be nice. Steeplechase does still have 1 original staff member, Kyle, he has always been nice and upbeat, i just hope the new property manager doesn't get rid of him too. The new staff has made it to where, i don't even want to go into the office anymore unless i absolutely have to.. If anyone knows where the old staff (Tabor and Cara (sp')) went please let me know.. all we know is they are working somewhere within the company. As far as the apartment goes, the only real complaint i have are the windows, other than that maintenance is great, and if i do have an issue, maintenance fixes it properly and in a timely manner.
