Decent Apartment, Unprofessional Management

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001
I lived in Sterling the first year they opened. We had a lot of minor problems, like a faulty water heater, etc, but all were fixed relatively fast, or we were given the option of staying in a hotel at their expense.
The leasing agent, Candice, was very nice, knew everyone by name, and went out of her way to help. When she left, things went downhill. When one of my roomates moved out, Candice let us meet other ones to replace her. When I had the same situation again, the staff placed someone, without informing anyone. We were not even told his name. We ended up having to move out of OUR apartment, because the guy was such a jerk, and even though he hadn't moved in yet, they refused to do anything about it.
There are so many office people, that nothing gets accomplished. Residents were left to call around and figure out how best to move around so as to make everyone happy, because the management was too busy filling rooms, not making good room assignements.
If you can fill an apartment, and not need their assistance at all, then it might be fine.
