This apartment complex is by far the best in B-town. I lived at The Fields last year, and was fooled into moving to Smallwood this year by Smallwood's marketing schemes.

Anyway, I totally regret it. You pay an arm and a leg to live at both places, but The Fields actually backs it up with a nice apartment.

At Smallwood, I am treated like I am a freshman in a dorm. I feel like a child, and the apartment is a little slice of dorm hell. If you want to live with five hundred eighteen year olds, be my guest, but I prefer a little more dignity for $1000 a month.

Anyway, The Fields has been the nicest place in Bloomington I have lived. They are picky about the pools (they are really clean, and if you don't live there, don't even think about going). But all in all, they have a reason to be.

I never needed maintenance to come over and the staff left me alone. That is hardly the case at Smallwood.
