I've called the Fields home now for more than 3 years, and I've been overwhelmingly happy with my experience here. Visitors are consistently impressed by the property and all it has to offer. The apartments have such nice touches on them that they feel much more like a real home than a temporary living space. Now that it's warm out my friends are constantly hitting my up to be a guest at one of the Fields' pools. Compared to the others apartments in Bloomington, this is a real gem of an apartment complex. The staff is extremely friendly and professional, and always goes above and beyond. The Fields is always planning some sort of event for the residents like a Wine Tasting Night or a Pumpkin Carving Party in the fall. It's really a diverse and up-scale community, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something different that the usual Bloomington rental nightmares.

You're kidding, right? In the two years I lived there, the ONLY communication I ever got about things 'happening' at The Fields was when someone broke into an apartment and murdered one of the tennants. The apartments are really starting to fall apart (despite the management retaining 100% of security deposits for ROUTINE maintenance that comes with owning an apartment complex) and having the manager of the complex say to me (direct quote), "Sue me or get over it." is not not professional OR friendly, but really shows their attitude of managing an apartment complex. I have gone out of my way to tell people to NEVER rent from The Fields and will continue to do so. Good luck to anyone who lives there now. I don't envy you in the slightest.
