I would really just like to say that this place is really not as bad as some people make it out to be. First of all, they are not a luxury apartment community. With that being said, you don't see it in thier ad that they claim to be this either. Town and Country is a community that is close to nearly every place you could ever need to go (i.e. grocery, Target, mall and eateries) and that is what they advertise becuase it is their best feature. These places are older and could use some updating but some of the places have had updates and have really nice hardwood flooring in them or nice carpet. If you want luxury go downtown and pay 3-4 times more a month in rent. These places are great if you are on a budget and just need a place to come home to or study. They are perfect for students, young families just starting out, or even families that are just budget consious. Its pretty quiet out here for the most part, I have never encountered a nasty neighbor, in fact, one night I came home and was carrying my baby and groceries and one of the guys living in my building actually took the groceries off my hands and carried them up for me. In addition, the office staff is amazing. Connie and Audra both work very hard to accomodate people no matter what your situation is. I have never dealt with a staff that really seems to care about the residents and making sure they are satisfied. They are always so polite and willing to work to meet the needs of the residents. I have had a pretty unfourtunate situation happen to me while living here and they were both really helpful in trying to find alternatives for me. In the end I have chosen to leave but only because I will be staying in a place that is owned by family. Had that opportunity not come up I would have stayed. You can't get the amount of space that they offer for the price anywhere else in Bloomington. You can try it, but you wont find it. You might not find all the bells and whistles but if you don't need all of that to be satasfied you will be able to call this place home and rest assure that your needs will be met.
