Don't believe them if they tell you that something will be fixed before your move-in date. We ended up living there for 7 months with only 1 working toilet (but were paying for 2). And on top of that, a few weeks after we moved in, the dishwasher spewed SEWAGE all over our dishes! We informed the maintenance AND management MANY MANY times about the toilet and the dishwasher issues, but neither were fixed by the time we moved out 7 months later. The management SCREAMED and YELLED when we wanted to just DISCUSS reparations. They are very rude, they don't know how to talk to customers or run an apartment complex. Their ONE maintenance worker (one isn t enough for their entire complex) is seen many times just circling (driving) around the complex, instead of working on the many, many, MANY maintenance requests. In fact, when my husband and I were still waiting for him to fix the toilet/dishwasher, we saw him park and talk on his cell phone for an hour. Please, save your sanity and don t live there! If you must, TAKE PICTURES of the place before you move in and again when you move out. Also, get EVERYTHING in writing and make copies of maintenance request logs. At least we got our full security deposit back, but they wait until the Indiana state law legal limit to postmark the deposit; which means you don t technically receive your deposit back by the time the law states.

I wish I had gotten maintenance logs for my place. This apartment complex is one of the worst I've ever lived in.
