Large Apartements, Large Problems

While Woodbridge does have very large rooms, the price for my one bedroom apartment was raised nearly 10% in one year ($50). Having lived in 2 other complexes in Bloomington, Woodbridge is by far the worst.
The lighting fixtures, flooring, and appliances are VERY dated. The flooring in the kitchen and bathroom is the same commerical flooring you remember from the cafeteria in grade school. The few lights provided are from the late '70's/early 80's. The kitchen is dark, with original appliances. My refrigerator ran very loud, the dishwasher didn't wash, and the toliet constantly ran (but water is included in the rent).
The windows don't close, which only added to the insect problem in the apartment. While I only had the ocassional roach (unlike my neighbors), my apartment was bombarded by large, black ants. During the spring, the entire complex seemed to be invaded by large, furry bumblebees, making it impossible to go outside or open windows (they would come in through the poorly fitting screens).
The complex is constantly working on the EXTERIOR appearance, meaning you hear work as early as 7:00 a.m. Of all the apartments I have rented (4 now), this was by far the worst for the money.
