I have lived here since May and so far I really like it. I was a bit hesitant about moving here from reading the other reviews, but I have been really happy.

I have a 1 bedroom w/loft and love the way it is laid out. With the good deal they had at the time and a graduate student discount I have only been paying $605/month even with my two cats. Woodbridge, like 90% of complexes in Bloomington, runs the pet scam. Somehow I could have another person living with me at no additional charge, but it costs $50/month for two cats' Didn't I already agree to pay for any damages in the apartment (the look on the lease guy's face when I asked him to justify it was classic)' An additional REFUNDABLE pet deposit would be very reasonable, but some people will do anything for a buck I guess. However, $605/month for an 850 sq foot apartment....it is still a good deal.

When they offered me an apartment and I came in to sign the lease, I didn't like the fact that I couldn't actually preview the apartment I would be living in (I had a bad experience elsewhere with this). They insisted that it is their policy not to. However, lo and behold, in the lease it specifically states that the leasee agrees that they have previewed the actual apartment and it is up to their standards. I pointed this out to the lease agent and told him that I either needed to see the apartment or have that line taken out of the contract (to protect myself). He refused to do either and I almost walked out. I did end up signing though (duh) and the apartment was in GREAT shape when I moved in.

I got really lucky and have very quiet neighbors, so noise hasn't been an issue at all. The apartments are actually really well designed in that the walls shared with your neighbor are mainly "non-living" parts of the apartment (kitchen, bathroom, closet). The bedroom is completly isolated...except for the floor (I'm on the top) of course.

My area of Woodbridge (actually, recently bought out and now called "The Crossing at Pete Ellis") has been well maintained and I am very happy with the quality of the apartment. I have to leave in May to finish up med school in Indianapolis, but I really wish I could take my apartment with me.

WOW! $605? I'm paying $600 for a one bedroom (no loft), grad student discount, no pets... Man, I was suckered....
