My husband and I moved to one of the two-bedroom townhomes here, and our experience has been great. A few good points:
(1) The utility bills are very reasonable; both of my previous aparts were very drafty and inefficient, but here we have no such problem.
(2) The buildings are wonderfully soundproof. Except when our neighbors go up and down the stairs, we cannot hear them. This is significant, because all our neighbors have had either dogs or small children. Since we have parrots AND dogs, we are grateful that the walls aren't paper thin, as it helps us be good neighbors! Both times I have called maitenance they have responded on the same day.
(3) Many people here have dogs, and this makes it a pet friendly community.
(4) The patios are very nice. I have done container gardening on ours in the summer, and my husbasnd and I sit out there with the dogs. Very nice!
(5) Though I don't deal with them often, the staff have always seemed very nice. I can't imagine what the other reviewers are talking about!
(6) Commuting to Indiana University is easy; it's only a 20 min walk or a short ride on the busline, which runs every 20 mins during the day or once per hour at night. We are also just around the corner from the post office, the mall, Best Buy, and a wonderful food co-op. If my car broke, I could get to work and to basic shopping on foot.

The one bad thing about the complex is that, for Bloomington, these are expensive units. However, for us, the extra few bucks are well-worth it. We have enough space, it's hassle-free, and most importantly our pets love it!
