Woodland Springs is an older apartment complex. The outward appearance of the area as seen from Leonard Springs Rd. is attractive. However, once entering the complex itself, you find a degree of neglect on the part of exterior upkeep (PMC, article 3).

The majority of the pavement, sidewalks, and entryways are damaged. Cracks are not sealed, and weeds grow from them uncontrolled. Bushes are unkempt, and have insect cocoons hanging from them. Some of the outlying areas (see the A & B buildings) look like a yard sale with the junk outside.

After voicing my complaints, I offered my services as a landscaper to help correct this problem, with no response. I eventually cleared the weeds and foliage in front of my apartment myself.

On the upside, the maintenance staff here do an outstanding job. They are pleasant while in my home, and I have no complaints about their repairs.
