My boyfriend and I moved into this apt. 13 months ago and I am counting the days until we are out of here. To start with the office staff is rude, unprfessional, and completely incompetent. We have had mice in our kitchen, chipmunks in our walls, suspected drug dealings across the hallway (brought to our attention by a personal visit by a detective two months after moving in), rude neighbors, no parking, fixtures breaking or falling off the wall, and the list just keeps going. DO NOT LET THIS PLACE FOOL YOU!

I work in the office at Brownsburg Crossing and would like to personally address these particular issues. First, regarding the mice and chipmunks, this situation was addressed and the residents fail to mention that the staff took necessary measures to alleviate this situation. As far as fixtures falling off of the walls, we have a fantastic 24 hour maintenance staff that would have been over immediately had we ever been notified of these issues. We cannot fix things that we aren't aware of. We hope people understand that not everyone in this community has had these issues and these views are expressed by only a few individuals.

I do not live here you see I was going to but after witnessing several problems first hand I decided that this was not the place for my family. YES There are things in life that are out of our hands BUT there are things that we can can control. When you are defensive and what I call borderline rude to a resident that shows poor management period. Regardless if that resident is in your face calling you nasty names or they just piss you off for complaining about things. The staff seems to forget a few important things... For starters this is the residents home. They do live here and they expect to be treated with respect. Really Now, Do you think they would have moved in if you greeted them at the door with a sigh and a what the hell do you want attitude? NOPE! You worked hard for that sale and that Commission and you need to work just as hard every single day to keep that resident happy. If something is broken fix it, do not make excuses, they do not care- BE honest and tell them the truth. There are a lot of issues with the kids, breaking the rules.... why? You have rules right? than ENFORCE them! IF that means that you have to be at that property at 10pm 0r 3am to check it out for yourself than that is what you do. That is what being a property manager is all about. If you can not or are not willing to do your job than please leave and let them get someone who is here for more than just collecting a paycheck! No not everyone will appreciate the fact that you are enforcing the rules but those are the ones who honestly need to go. If they can not abide by the rules than they need to go somewhere that better suits them and their needs and not trash up your community. If you catch someone vandalizing the property- prosecute and evict. The word gets out fast and then your job gets easier. It would be nice if everyone who looked responsible was but sometimes you just have to put the iron fist down and show people that you do care and you are willing to stand up and make things right instead of just grabbing your paycheck and treating them like they are a thorn in your ass. I remember when Brownsburg Crossing's occupancy was only 30% due to their many problems but when they started to care it started to be a nice place to live so hopefully this staff can see the error of their ways ( or the ways that the residents see them ) and can make a big u turn ! Good Luck!
