Dirtiest apartment complex I've ever lived in. Hallways are a mess, full of cob webs and dirt. People actually leave their bags of trash in the hallways for days! There is always trash in the parking lot - people just throw out their drink containers from their car.

Maintenance is shabby or non-existent. Landscaping is dead or dying. Cob webs are all over windows and downspouts. The air conditioning units are so old they sound like they are on their last bearing - they are the noisiest compressors I've ever heard.

Thank god the kids are back in school. There is one little girl who rides around on her bike and screams at the top of her lungs all day long. Very annoying.

Don't move here unless you have low expectations.

I love reading these reviews. I love them because I think Brownsburg Crossing's ratings should continue to be driven down, and existing residents as well as potential residents should be aware... Warned. We had SO many problems with Brownsburg Crossing, and although we moved out in Aug 2007, we didn't get the last of these problems resolved until a year later! (At least I HOPE they're finally resolved. I shouldn't speak too soon, as they always surprise me.) What makes everything this review said all the worse is that the office staff are ALSO horrible - unprofessional to say the least, and who will try to pin anything and everything monetary they can on the tenants. They even tried to demand payment from us for gas and electric AFTER we moved out and the complex resumed control!! Should people still decide to sign a lease with BBCX, our advice is to make SURE that anything wrong with the apartment is fully documented. What I mean to say is... Check the nooks and crannies, check every blind, check every shelf and drawer in the refrigerator, check every doorknob and hinge, check every lock on the doors and windows, check all the faucets and drains, check every painted corner and every edge of carpet, check every counter top for chipping ro scratches. YES, this AND MORE is what new residents will want to do upon move-in!!
