I rented a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom townhome. Looked nice at the time. Moved from FL and had no time to look around!! First mistake! The carpet was filthy, asked them to reclean and the flat out denied. Said they had the work order stating it was already done. The walls are so thin. I could hear the neighbors kids run up and down their stairs. And the other side faught like cats and dogs.
First problem...maintenace man did not hook washer up properly. Ran a load of cloths in washer and it flooded 75% of the downstairs. They refused to pay to get it cleaned up. 2 weeks later I get a leak in the 3rd bedroom ceiling. They come and repaint the ceiling and call it fixed. 2 days later the leak is back. They tear out the entire ceiling to fix a leaking drain. They NEVER replaced the ceiling. I went 9 months with the room unusable. Finally our lease is up. They tried to charge me $585.00 to replace the ceiling they ripped out. When I ask to accompany the final walk threw they said NO. Then I get my deposit back. Charged me $195.00 to clean a fridge that I know I cleaned it better than what it was when I moved in. Than $100.00 for new carpet they said I ruined. Thank goodness I did the move in inspection sheet. Don't listen to thier bull they will not take care of you, and for the $1039 I paid a month in rent......I could have had a nicer card board box!
