I moved in July 07 and had asked for a one bedroom 2nd floor apartment and they messed up and gave me a 2 bedroom. This seemed good at first; until I realized the place was falling apart! I had a gas leak in my apartment for 3 months!! I had the guy in there looking at it at least 4 times and decided to call the gas company. Then....I had no heat or hot water for at least 4 days. It was a mess from day one. The gas leak caused me many health problems that have cost me a fortune. The place is cheap for a reason. If you have an emergency, don't think the staff will be of any help to you. They don't care. I moved out July 08 and they sent me a bill for damages I didn't do. This place makes me so angry. They weren't about to work with me on anything. It looks like I'm not the only one that has had a lot of problems at Carmel Landing. Also if you have loud neighbors don't expect anything to change. They might even tell you they are going to move out and then they don't! By far the worst place I have ever lived.
