RENTER'S NIGHTMARE

I had given my 45 days notice. It was signed and dated by Nikki. She made a copy. I kept the original. Nearly two months later, I received a sherif's notice in the mail from them. They successfully evicted me from the complex after I had moved out nearly two months earlier with 45 days advance notice. Also, the courtroom was filled with former residents being sued by the management.
Needless to say, I never got my deposit back, even though I had left the place in emaculate shape with 11 witnesses.
There are water leakage problems with the ceiling. The trails are a joke. And the playground is greatly outdated. Outside and hallway lights were constantly burned out. The door frame to my apartment looked like someone had taken a crowbar to it. When I informed the management, they didn't seem concerned. It took several visits to fix the water leakage that was coming up through the floor in my kitchen. Eventually, a new dish washer was installed, but it didn't correct the water problem.
When I had moved in, the apartment reaked of pet urine. It was very embarrassing and when I complained, they were willing to have it cleaned, but I believe that's what caused the smell. Why not new carpet' Duh!! There's an idea!!
