Cool Little Pad

I moved in here about two months ago and so far I've been happy. These are older apartments, and believe it or not, there are benefits to this. The newer apartments have paper-thin walls and doors - this place, built in the 1970's, has VERY thick walls and doors. In the apartment across from me live some very noisy neighbors who have a screaming baby, but as soon as I close my door, I can't hear them at all. That really surprised me.
Also, this apartment is a lot bigger AND I have a washer/dryer in my apartment, and I have friends who are paying $200-$250 more a month at other places for a smaller place and no washer/dryer. Apartment was squeaky clean when I moved in, that made me happy, because most times when you're shown a model, the REAL apartment looks nothing like it. Not so in this case. This is a cool little pad.
I look out over the golf course, which is awesome, I don't have to look at a parking lot or other neighbors like some people do, just a big stretch of green.
Keep in mind that this is CARMEL, and those of us who aren't making $50,000 a year are at a disadvantage when it comes to finding a place to live in this burg, but Mohawk is probably the best priced for what I get, and like I said, I'm happy with it so far.
