**Updated** So glad to be out of there

The apartments are nice, spacious, and modern with great appliances. The AMLI staff are a bit snooty, uppity, untrained, unprofessional, and not compassionate. Unless you rent a 3 bedroom apartment, you will be FIGHTING for a parking space - even spaces along the curbs are scarce (the 3 bedroom apts are in larger buildings and are not as "popular" as the 1-2 bd apts and therefore have more parking room). AMLI would get on people for parking at the curbs to the point of leaving paper warnings on vehicles until my wife chewed their asses for their poor parking design.
I live on the outer corner of the building with no one above me and a garage below me. The garage is noisy only when the garage door is used. The neighbors who had the garage below would leave their garbage in the garage which would smell horrible during the warmer months. The main office would never address this issue nor most issues anyone brought to them.
One other thing, in a one bedroom apt our water heater only lasts about 10-15min in the dead of winter even after a replaced thermostat and the temp was changed from 120 deg to 140.
It was a frustrating time living there. I am so glad to own a home now.
