Looks good from afar, but NO WAY

Non-stop problems. Everything to do with this place has been a problem. The apartments looked nice, but the office staff didn't. That should've been my first indication. My apartment was NOT ready to be moved into as promised. Many maintenance issues. There is no contact between office staff and residents as to what is going on. People would just show up doing maintenance right outside your window while you're getting dressed, or if they are getting the apartment ready next to yours, making loud noise being rude etc (the walls are very thin and you can hear everything-you could even hear the phone ringing, so imagine what yelling, or music would sound like). The maintenance men were always very helpful and nice when they came to my apartment. However, that never worked out well because you have to go through the office staff to put in a maintenance request. IF someone answered the phone (which was rare) they were rude or you never really knew if they were listening. Most of the time you get the voice mail and it takes 3-4 days for them to respond. Imagine 3-4 days to hear whether or not someone is going to fix things for you. The office would pretend to make reasonable policies for the health and safety of the residents, yet not enforce them. Such as imposing a rule that people could not leave bags of garbage sitting outside their door or they would be fined. And trust me, the garbage was a huge problem. But the office never fined anyone. My neighbors constantly had dirty garbage outside there door (right next to our door) and it smelled terrible. It was embarassing to bring guests because they had to smell it. Not to mention, they do not screen people who live here. Although I feel safe living here, we've had to call the police because of loud music at 2 a.m., screaming, fighting neighbors, and things like that. Also, they never had a steady manager at the office. Which explains all the management issues. We kept getting told "they're trying to work it out" or "they got a new manager and she's great". Which was true while Cheryl was the manager, but managing the immature rude staff at this complex had her quitting in a matter of months. My time here was nothing but an absolute struggle to be treated like a good paying customer. Even if you had an appointment with them, they would ignore you if a new possible tenant walked in the building. It takes 20 minutes just to pay your rent because they are trying to get someone new to sign a lease. After too much time and money spent dealing with these people, please reconsider finding some where that you're actually getting what you pay for.
