RENTERS: BEWARE OF THE VILLAGE

I lived at the Village (formerly Amli) for 2 years. I share the same sentiments as other people who have posted here. This complex is VERY overpriced for what you get.
There is never any parking. I had a garage and unauthorized people would park in front of my garage. I asked for help several times from the office staff and they only gave me the name of a tow truck - which never came.
The construction of the buildings is horrible. I could hear my neighbors' phone ring, their TV, I could hear people walking up and down the stairs, doors banging and dogs barking at all hours.
On multiple times I had service people enter my apartment without advance notice and when I wasn't home. When I asked the office staff, they said they were obligated to come in to perform repairs or annual service checkups. (this was really creepy)
The office staff lost packages several times; they would later show up in their office.
The office staff are not friendly--they will appear to be so just to make a sale. (I never had this problem until the complex was sold to NTS).
Winter months are awful. Plowing is a nightmare when there is a big snowfall--don't think about even leaving when this happens. Be prepared for icy steps in the mornings (I ended up getting my own salt and shovel).
Lastly, the office staff DO NOT honor their word or their contract--beware about signing any contract with them. Do EVERYTHING in writing if you do sign something. The office staff are completely unprofessional; watch out and be prepared to deal with uncooperative people.
Save your money. Rent somewhere else; you'll be glad you did.
